Rotary Adopt A Highway

The Rockville Rotary Club recently completed their eleventh round of road side beautification through the Indiana Adopt-a-Highway program for a cumulative total of 22 highway miles cleaned-up in the past six years.  Nine volunteers from the club worked to remove litter from both sides of U.S. Highway 36 on the immediate east side of Rockville last Saturday morning.

Those assisting with the project included: (seated in front L-R) Lisa Ternet, Eric Losin and Donna Lowdermilk.  In back are (L-R) Greg Ternet, Bob Lowdermilk, Dr. Randy Kerkhoff, Mike Ruark and Alan Ader.  Also working, but not available for the photo,
was Greg Harbison.

The Rotary Club of Rockville is one of over 34,000 Rotary International clubs world-wide promoting community service, peace and understanding.  The club normally meets each Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the Parke County Learning Center Ivy Tech building at Rockville.
